Clinton Township, MI
Drake Enterprises a leading-edge auto and heavy truck torque transferring product supplier to Fiat Chrysler, Eaton and BMW, today announced it will be implementing its new ERP system in partnership with PLEX Systems.
Founded in 1995, Plex is the Manufacturing Cloud, delivering industry-leading ERP and manufacturing automation to more than 550 companies including American Axle and Fisher industries. Plex pioneered cloud solutions for the shop floor, connecting suppliers, machines, people, systems and customers with capabilities that are easy to configure, deliver continuous innovation and reduce IT costs. With the insight that starts on the production line, Plex will help us see and understand every aspect of our business ecosystems, enabling us to lead in an ever-changing market.
“We’re pleased to be implementing the PLEX system here at Drake” states Drake’s IT Director Jason Beneteau, “as the Plex solution includes everything a manufacturing company needs”. Corporate Controller, Kevin Cran echoes this sentiment and notes that “We anticipate seeing measurable cost savings with Plex that will allow us to be even more competitive in our markets”.
Drake will begin full implementation shortly and will go live with the new system in the first quarter of 2018. Headquartered in Clinton Township Mi., Drake has been in business for over 65 years and is planning for significant growth in the years to come.
