Drake receives another Chrysler Outstanding Quality Performance Award
Drake Enterprises was recently recognized by Chrysler as a role model supplier achieving “Perfect Quality” according to our scorecard and quality metrics. Drake Enterprises is currently one of the top suppliers of high quality transmission components for Chrysler’s Jeep Grand Cherokee and their 200 LX.
On August 9, 2013, Chrysler quality representative, Jolene Alward, presented Drake Enterprises with the 2012 Outstanding Quality Performance Award. Out of the many Chrysler suppliers who could have qualified for this honor, Drake was one of only 54 companies who earned the recognition. This follows the 2011 Chrysler Outstanding Quality Performance Award presented to Drake during last year’s Supplier Awards Ceremony at the Fox Theater in Detroit.
Drake’s owners, Lee Stemple, President and Richard Stemple, CFO/Vice President humbly accepted the award on behalf of the company. All the plant and office personnel were able to be part of this event making the presentation even more meaningful. This accomplishment is clearly due to everyone’s dedication to excellence and focusing on continuous quality improvement in manufacturing high quality transmission components.
